Santa Catalina School Robotics — The C-Otters!
The C-Otters (Team 6665) are an all-girls FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team from Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California. Each year, we design, build and program a 130-lb robot to play a challenging field game with and against other FRC teams. We lead and we do the work. Together, we write code and use CAD software, we design and engineer, we work with tools, machinery and digital equipment, we build and fabricate, we troubleshoot (a lot), we market our team and robot, and we compete. At Catalina, robotics is offered as a co-curricular option for students during both the Winter (Nov-Dec) and Spring (Jan-May) seasons.
Team Principles:
We value and uphold our school motto — Veritas.
We do the work. Coaches and mentors teach, guide and advise.
We treat each other and our competitors with respect.
We prioritize learning, growth and the experience, not results.
