The C-Otters (Team 6665) are an all-girls FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team from Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California. Each year, we design, build, and program a 130-lb robot to play a challenging field game with and against other FRC teams. We lead and we do the work. Together, we write code and use CAD software, we design and engineer, we work with tools, machinery, and digital equipment, we build and fabricate, we troubleshoot (a lot), we market our team and robot, and we compete.

Robotics is now offered for all three co-curriculars - Fall, Winter and Spring. The Fall cocu is called “Minibots” because we split into small groups and build cute little 18” x 18” robots to play a whimsical game with and against one another in December. Absolutely no experience is required, we do this to learn the skills we’ll need when the real competition is announced in January. Watch for that when coco signups come out!
